About this home

Hermitage Road – Bushland Glamping Bell Tent for 30+ Day Stays near Bendigo Hermitage Road offers a cosy, nature-immersed glamping stay for a month or more. It's in Maiden Gully, just a 15-minute drive from the heart of Bendigo, on 16 hectares of vineyards, lawns and protected bushland. It's ideal for solo travellers and couples who want an extended digital detox, nature lovers, and anyone who'd rather wake to birdsong than traffic during a longer stay in the Bendigo region. The Space This single-pole canvas bell tent is the smallest and most intimate of the glamping tents. It has a Queen bed with bedside tables and lamps, and a rattan seating area for two with a coffee table, which can be set up inside the tent or out on your private porch. A drink station with a kettle and mini fridge covers your morning coffee, and a mini air-conditioning unit adds comfort. There's no WiFi at the tent, which makes this a genuine screen-free escape. The Glamping Grounds The tents sit among the gum trees, spaced a few metres apart for privacy. A lit path leads from the shared fire pit to the tents. A modern central bathroom block is only steps away, with 5 individual bathrooms, each with a shower, vanity and toilet. Walk past the dam and onto the bush trail, where kangaroos, native birds and lizards roam. Across the wider estate you can soak up the sun on the lawns, relax on the deck, or gather at the fire pit as the vineyards glow at sunset. Parking & Access Parking is in an open gravel car park within the secure estate grounds, about 400m from the tents, so a short walk is needed. This keeps the glamping area peaceful and vehicle-free. Please note that as a canvas tent, the accommodation isn't a lockable structure. Local Highlights Bendigo City Centre – 15 mins. Boutique shopping, heritage streets, cafés, bars and a wide range of restaurants. Rosalind Park & Heritage Precinct – 15 mins. Gardens, historic buildings, galleries and vintage trams. Golden Dragon Museum – 15 mins. Chinese-Australian heritage of the Goldfields. The Great Stupa & Vegetarian Café – 2 mins. A landmark just behind the property, with walking grounds and a peaceful café. Local wineries & cellar doors – 10–20 mins. The Zone Fun Park – 10 mins.
