About this home
Hermitage Road – Luxury Safari Glamping Tent with Ensuite for 30+ Day Stays near Bendigo Hermitage Road offers a spacious, self-contained glamping stay for a month or more. It's in Maiden Gully, just a 15-minute drive from the heart of Bendigo, on 16 hectares of vineyards, lawns and protected bushland. It's ideal for couples or solo travellers wanting an extended digital detox, nature lovers, and anyone looking for a slower, quieter way to spend a longer stay in the Bendigo region. The Space This canvas safari-style tent has an open-plan layout with separate living, dining and sleeping areas, which gives you room to properly settle in. A Queen four-poster bed with a mosquito net sits beside bedside tables and lamps, and a wardrobe provides storage for your belongings. The lounge area has a low two-seater couch, and the dining area has a four-seater round table. The kitchenette has a bar fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster for simple everyday meals. Your private ensuite has a vanity, toilet and corrugated steel rain-head shower. Outside, the spacious deck has a hanging egg chair, two rattan lounge chairs and a coffee table. There's also an outdoor bathtub overlooking the countryside, perfect for a slow soak at sunset. There's no WiFi at the tent, which makes this a genuine screen-free escape. The Glamping Grounds The tents sit among the gum trees, spaced a few metres apart for privacy. A lit path leads from the shared fire pit to the tents. Walk past the dam and onto the bush trail, where kangaroos, native birds and lizards roam. Across the wider estate you can relax on the lawns and deck, or gather at the fire pit as the vineyards glow at sunset. Parking & Access Parking is in an open gravel car park within the secure estate grounds, about 400m from the tents, so a short walk is needed. This keeps the glamping area peaceful and vehicle-free.
