About this home
Hermitage Road – Spacious Glamping Bell Tent for 30+ Day Stays near Bendigo Hermitage Road offers a spacious, relaxed glamping stay for a month or more. It's in Maiden Gully, just a 15-minute drive from the heart of Bendigo, on 16 hectares of vineyards, lawns and protected bushland. It's ideal for couples or friends wanting an extended digital detox, nature lovers, and anyone looking for a slower, simpler way to spend a longer stay in the Bendigo region. The Space This double-poled bell tent gives you more room to stretch out than a standard bell tent. It has a Queen bed with bedside tables and lamps, a low two-seater couch, and rattan lounge chairs with a coffee table. The seating can be arranged inside the tent or out on the porch. A drink station with a kettle and mini fridge covers your morning tea and coffee, and a mini air-conditioning unit adds comfort. Wake up to the sunrise from bed, and sip tea on the porch as the colours paint the sky at dusk. There's no WiFi at the tent, which makes this a genuine screen-free escape. The Glamping Grounds The tents sit among the gum trees, spaced a few metres apart for privacy. A lit path leads from the shared fire pit to the tents. A modern central bathroom block is only steps away, with 5 individual bathrooms, each with a shower, vanity and toilet. Walk past the dam and onto the bush trail, where kangaroos, native birds and lizards roam. Across the wider estate you can relax on the lawns and deck, or gather at the fire pit as the vineyards glow at sunset. Parking & Access Parking is in an open gravel car park within the secure estate grounds, about 400m from the tents, so a short walk is needed. This keeps the glamping area peaceful and vehicle-free. Please note that as a canvas tent, the accommodation isn't a lockable structure. Local Highlights Bendigo City Centre – 15 mins.
