Afterwards, rinse off under the beautifully handcrafted, heated copper outdoor rain shower — one of the villa's quiet little luxuries. Facing north with a wraparound terrace, Mount Scanzi Road is sunny and warm in winter, cool and shaded in summer, with real oak floors and a relaxed, non-fussy feel throughout. It's the kind of place where you wake up to kangaroos and wombats on the doorstep, just a five-minute drive from the village — close enough for convenience, far enough to feel like a proper escape.
