About this home
Queensberry Street – Heritage Two-Level Loft in a Former 1857 Hotel for 30+ Day Stays in North Melbourne Queensberry Street is a light-filled, character-rich loft in a former hotel built in 1857, available for stays of a month or more in North Melbourne, just 1.6km from the CBD. Three heritage sash windows open over Queensberry Street's cafés and catch the warm morning sun. The Route 57 tram stops 200m away, Queen Victoria Market is a 5-minute walk, and a post office, library, pharmacies and supermarkets are within 50m. With two mezzanine bedrooms, two bathrooms and two living areas, it's ideal for professionals on extended contracts in Melbourne, couples or friends sharing a longer stay, and anyone who loves heritage character with modern comfort. The Loft Spanning two levels, the loft combines exposed brick walls, timber beams and polished wooden floors with a warm, contemporary feel. The ground-floor living area is styled with eclectic artwork. It has comfortable seating for four, a theatre-size Smart TV, a sofa bed for extra guests, and a fully equipped bathroom. A courtyard off the living room has full outdoor furniture, perfect for slow mornings in the sun. Upstairs, the main living and dining area seats six and flows into a fully equipped kitchen with a gas cooktop, an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge, a dishwasher, a toaster and a kettle. Layered rugs, a rustic coffee table, Art Deco lounges and natural décor add warmth, and there's a real fireplace. Above, high ceilings and exposed timber trusses frame two open-plan mezzanine bedrooms, each with roof windows letting in extra light. They have bedside tables and lamps, vintage storage trunks and hangers. Both bathrooms have walk-in showers and modern vanities, with a hairdryer provided. The private laundry has a washing machine, a drying rack, an iron and ironing board, and a vacuum. Split-system air conditioning serves the living room, and fast WiFi and full streaming access are available throughout. Professional hotel-style linen, with a three-sheet setup, is provided, and a small welcome pack helps you settle in. Guest Access & Parking You'll have the entire loft.
