About 51 steps lead down from the back door to a secluded cove, with shady spots under the pandanus trees. Emu Park is about 3 minutes by car, a patisserie is 4 minutes away, a supermarket is 6 minutes, and Yeppoon and Rosslyn Bay (for the Great Keppel Island ferry) are about 20 minutes. Rockhampton CBD is about 40 minutes, and Rockhampton Airport about 45 minutes. With an ocean-view balcony, a private courtyard, air conditioning and WiFi, it’s ideal for couples wanting a peaceful beachfront long stay, and professionals on extended contracts in the region. The Suite The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area has a Smart TV with Netflix, board games and cards, and air conditioning and heating. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven, a cooktop, a microwave, a dishwasher, a warming drawer and a steamer. Upstairs, the bedroom has a Queen bed, motorised louvre blinds, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The private ensuite has a bathtub and a separate shower, and there’s also a powder room downstairs. Bath and beach towels and quality linen are provided. The laundry has a washing machine, a clothesline, and an iron and ironing board. WiFi is available. The ocean-view balcony has outdoor dining, perfect for sunrise coffee. The private courtyard has a garden wall, a water feature and outdoor dining, and there’s a shady lawn under the trees. The Cove Private stairs lead about 51 steps down to the cove, which is shared with a few neighbours. Beach chairs, beach towels, sunscreen, a picnic basket and rug, and a hammock are provided, and there’s an outdoor shower for rinsing off on the way back up. The shoreline is natural, with rocks and shells, so please check conditions before swimming. Pizza Oven and BBQ Package A traditional wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ in the courtyard are available together as a $100 add-on. The package includes firewood, kindling, fire starters, pizza oven tools, and cleaning of both. Just message the host to add it. It’s not available during fire bans, strong winds or unsafe weather, and the $100 is refunded if it can’t be offered on your dates. Guest Access & Parking You’ll have the suite to yourselves, with self check-in. Driveway parking and street parking out front are available. A second bedroom stays locked, and a separate long-term residence on the property has its own independent access. The bedroom and ensuite are upstairs. The downstairs powder room isn’t wheelchair accessible. Three exterior security cameras cover the front, the courtyard and the back of the property. There are no cameras inside. Mobile reception varies by provider, so screenshot your check-in instructions before you arrive. There’s a washing machine and clothesline but no dryer.
