Sugargum Drive – Private Double Room near Waurn Ponds Station for 30+ Day Stays

Sugargum Drive is an affordable, well-connected home base for stays of a month or more. It's in Waurn Ponds, just 300m from Waurn Ponds Station and 100m from the nearest bus stop. Epworth Hospital and Deakin University's Waurn Ponds Campus are both a 6-minute drive away. It's ideal for healthcare professionals on placement or contract, Deakin students, and professionals commuting to Melbourne by V/Line.

This is shared accommodation. You'll have your own private room, share a bathroom with one other room, and share the kitchen, living areas and laundry with all guests.

The Room  
Your private room has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, a new Smart TV, a built-in robe for unpacking properly, and split-system air conditioning. Some rooms also have a desk. Your door has a digital lock.

Shared Spaces  
The main bathroom, shared between two bedrooms, has a shower, toilet and vanity.

The kitchen is well equipped for everyday cooking, with a fridge, dishwasher, oven, gas stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, and all the crockery and utensils you need. There's a four-seater dining table, and the lounge has couches facing a Smart TV, with a large split-system air conditioner.

Glass doors open onto the courtyard, where a five-seater outdoor dining set is perfect for morning coffee in the sun. At the end of the hall, the laundry has a trough and top-loader washing machine, and leads out to the side yard with a clothesline and a quiet sitting spot for two.

Professional cleaning, laundered linen, quality amenities, 7-day guest support and a digital guidebook with local recommendations are all included.

Guest Access  
Access is via digital locks, so you can head straight to the property after check-in time without meeting anyone or collecting keys. Full check-in details are sent before arrival through your guest portal. There's free on-street parking and limited driveway spots. Garage access isn't permitted.

Waurn Ponds Station – 300m. V/Line trains to Melbourne and Warrnambool.  
Bus stop (Oakwood Cres/Sugargum Dr) – 100m. Routes 41, 42 and 45, including stops at Deakin Waurn Ponds and Epworth Hospital.  
Epworth Hospital and Deakin Waurn Ponds – 6-minute drive.  
Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre – 6-minute drive or 16-minute bus ride, with Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Target, cinemas and eateries. JB Hi-Fi and Bunnings are on the way.

Ubers are also readily available in the area.
