Lawrence Hargrave Drive is a beachfront family retreat in Coledale, positioned directly across the road from Coledale Beach, where you can wake to the sound of waves and watch the sunrise before your coffee has even cooled. This two storey home is designed with families in mind, offering a dedicated kids room complete with a smart TV and three bunk beds, alongside two spacious king bedrooms, making it a comfortable base for a family of up to 10.

The open plan kitchen doubles as an entertaining space, flowing out to a huge deck overlooking the ocean and headlands, the perfect spot to watch the sunset over a glass of wine while the kids wind down after a day at the beach. A short stroll down the driveway and across the road puts you right on the sand, making this one of the most convenient beachfront locations around.

The home comes fully equipped with wifi, Netflix, a piano, a game console and board games to keep everyone entertained, along with a BBQ and laundry facilities for the practicalities of a longer stay. All bed linen and bath towels are supplied, and the home includes 1 full bathroom plus 2 free standing toilets to make mornings easier with a full house. The home is also suitable for families travelling with babies or young children, with a highchair and cot available on request, please note that cot linen is not supplied so we recommend bringing your own.

Upstairs enjoys ducted heating and air conditioning, while downstairs is kept comfortable with portable fans and a ceiling fan, and the cinema room stays cool through hallway vents when the door is open. Please note wifi in the area may run slower than in city locations. Lawrence Hargrave Drive offers the rare combination of a true beachfront position and genuine family friendly comfort, ideal for two young families or a multi generational getaway.

— Check in is after 3 pm and checkout is before 10 am, please contact us in advance if you would like an earlier check in or later checkout as this may incur a charge  
— This is a strictly no smoking property, any evidence of smoking found in the home may result in a 500 dollar fine  
— No pets are allowed  
— Strictly no parties or events  
— Please let us know in advance about any extra guests or day visitors, this is required for liability purposes under the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW  
— A maximum of ten guests are permitted to stay overnight, with up to five day visitors allowed, no more than fifteen people are permitted on the property at any one time  
— Only guests included in the booking are permitted to stay, any additional visitors must be approved by us in writing prior to your stay  
— We ask for minimal noise at all times, especially after 9 pm, out of respect for our neighbours, and ask that guests avoid loitering in or around the property  
— A valid ID and card details are required for a temporary pre authorisation, which is held as a security deposit for the duration of your stay  
— All guests are asked to review and accept our terms and conditions through the pre arrival check in form  
— Breaking any of our house rules may result in guests being asked to leave the property without a refund of any unused nights  
— Requests to change your booking dates can only be considered if your check in date is more than one month away, changes are subject to approval and a surcharge may apply  
— Cancellations made 30 days or less before check in are not eligible for a refund  
— Cancellations made within 7 days of booking receive a full refund, unless the check in date is 30 days or less away  
— Cancellations made after 7 days of booking receive a 50 percent refund of the accommodation fee plus the cleaning fee, unless the check in date is 30 days or less away  
— Cancellations made within 48 hours of check in are not eligible for a refund  
— This cancellation policy applies to bookings made directly with us, if you booked through a third party platform such as Airbnb or Vrbo, their cancellation policy will apply instead
