Smoking evidence found by cleaners (ash, butts or smell) may incur a $500 fine  
Early check-in or late check-out requests must be arranged in advance and may incur a charge  
Date changes: Only accommodated if check-in is more than 1 month away, subject to approval and a possible surcharge  
Cancellation policy (for direct bookings only — third-party platform bookings, e.g. Airbnb or VRBO, follow that platform's policy instead):  
Bookings made within 30 days or less of check-in: no refund  
Cancel within 7 days of booking (and more than 30 days before check-in): full refund  
Cancel after 7 days from booking (and more than 30 days before check-in): 50% refund of the accommodation fee plus the cleaning fee  
Cancel within 48 hours of check-in: no refund  
Breaching any house rule may result in guests being asked to leave, with no refund of unused nightly rates
