Minkara Road is a charming blend of rustic elegance and modern comfort, featuring a beautifully renovated original cottage with all the conveniences you could desire. The ideal romantic getaway, it offers stunning water views where you can wake up to watch sailboats glide by, or enjoy preparing a delicious meal on the spacious outdoor BBQ.

Please note the cottage sits adjacent to our main house and shares a gate as well as the front yard, so if you would prefer complete privacy during your stay, we recommend enquiring about booking the main house alongside the cottage.

Inside, you will find a cosy indoor fireplace, air conditioning and a ceiling fan for year round comfort, along with a fully equipped kitchen featuring a dishwasher, mini fridge and Nespresso coffee maker. Step outside to the private patio, complete with outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill, perfect for enjoying the waterfront setting. The cottage is a single level home with its own private entrance, offering an easy, romantic escape for two.

For your security, check in details are shared either the evening before or the morning of your arrival, and only one set of keys is issued per stay as we do not hold spares. Please note the cottage does not have a washer or dryer, the nearest laundry shop is a 10 minute drive away in Mona Vale, or guests can use a convenient pick up and delivery laundry service directly from the front door. There is no dedicated parking spot on the property, however there is plenty of free street parking available out front. We also offer a hassle free airport pick up and drop off service exclusively for guests staying in our homes, simply get in touch for current rates and booking details.

## House rules

— Check in is after 3 pm and checkout is before 10 am, please contact us in advance if you would like an earlier check in or later checkout as this may incur a charge  
— This is a strictly no smoking property, any evidence of smoking found in the home may result in a 500 dollar fine  
— No pets are allowed  
— Strictly no parties or events  
— Please let us know in advance about any extra guests or day visitors, this is required for liability purposes under the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW  
— A maximum of two guests are permitted to stay at the property  
— Only guests included in the booking are permitted to stay, any additional visitors must be approved by us in writing prior to your stay  
— We ask for minimal noise at all times, especially after 9 pm, out of respect for our neighbours, and ask that guests avoid loitering in or around the property  
— A valid ID and card details are required for a temporary pre authorisation, which is held as a security deposit for the duration of your stay  
— All guests are asked to review and accept our terms and conditions through the pre arrival check in form  
— Breaking any of our house rules may result in guests being asked to leave the property without a refund of any unused nights  
— Requests to change your booking dates can only be considered if your check in date is more than one month away, changes are subject to approval and a surcharge may apply  
— Cancellations made 30 days or less before check in are not eligible for a refund  
— Cancellations made within 7 days of booking receive a full refund, unless the check in date is 30 days or less away  
— Cancellations made after 7 days of booking receive a 50 percent refund of the accommodation fee plus the cleaning fee, unless the check in date is 30 days or less away  
— Cancellations made within 48 hours of check in are not eligible for a refund  
— This cancellation policy applies to bookings made directly with us, if you booked through a third party platform such as Airbnb or Vrbo, their cancellation policy will apply instead
